A Day Trip to Mt. Rainier
This Saturday, my husband and I ventured to Mt. Rainier to enjoy the company of one another and work on my photography collection. It was an amazing trip! We went on a few mini hikes, saw bugs and butterflies, Mt. Adams in the distance, flowers, waterfalls, snow, and so much more! We ate a packed lunch near a river and explored all there was to explore. I have so many new ideas and themes that will be showing up at both Art Whims and Art Whims Paper! You will also want to be on the look out for new fine art photography featuring the beauty of Mt. Rainier!
I cannot wait to share the inspiration that I found on this trip!

Handmade Wedding
Last November I married my wonderful husband, and we had several pieces of our wedding that we made ourselves: the invitations, the floral arrangements (thanks to my generous mom), the wedding favors, and the thank you notes.
The wonderful thing about having a handmade wedding is that you can get exactly what you are looking for, have something unique, and create a memory people will love to think about.
If you want to make some of the items yourself you should consider visiting the following sites:
DIY Bride - All kinds of projects
DIY Weddings
DIY Life - Centerpieces
If you are not craft savvy, or are as busy as I was when I got married, you should consider shopping with Etsians to create your dream wedding. I have included some of my favorite shops below. If that is not your style click here to browse Etsy's wedding category. You are bound to find something great!
I hope that each of you getting married this year have a blessed marriage, full of joy, excitement and many years!

For the Beauty of Watercolor
I have loved the art of watercolor for years! Not only are water colors a challenging medium to work with, they also lead to some of the most beautiful pieces of artwork.
In celebration of the talent that it takes to use watercolors, I browsed through Etsy to find a shop that I love and would like to share with you all. One of the shops that I found that I thought was particularly great is TiDDLY iNKS. There you can find a large variety of ACEOs/ ATCs, 8x10 prints, and original pieces of art. The art is fun, unique, and perfect for gift giving, a childs room or your own collection.
Make sure to stop by this shop and share with me what your favorite piece is at TiDDLY iNKS. Mine is that whale pictured above!

At Art Whims Paper you can find an assortment of greeting cards, fine art photography and digital collages great for creating buttons, scrabble tile pendants and much more!
I hope that you will swing by our new shop and check out all these great new products!
