A Day of Rest and So Relaxed - Cedar Garden Bench

Cedar Planter Bench by  Terracottage Woods

Take a walk with me in the garden and
rest upon this bench.
Soak in those golden rays of sunshine
with your eyes gently closed.
Let the worries of yesterday float away into the clouds;
for now let it be just you and I.

Tuesday Talk - Dahlias

Dahlia Photography available at Art Whims Paper.

Some of my favorite flowers are Dahlias. Not only do they come in a variety of styles, shapes, color combinations and hues, they are tall and strong. They are well loved by the community in my area, as they grow annually at Point Defiance Park one of my favorite places to visit with my husband in the summer months.

If you are interested in growing dahlias you may want to check out the American Dahlia Society or Dahlia.com. for tips and resources. I am looking forward to someday enjoying these flowers in a garden that my husband and I will grow together.

Perfect for the Garden! Glorious Glass Garden

These Butterfly Feeders are magnificent! I absolutely love the vivid colors and the presence that multiples of these can have in the garden! Created by the Glorious Glass Garden, the butterfly feeders are a great gift for the mom, aunt, or green thumb in the family!

Taking Etsy Outside: Bee Gracious

Bee Gracious is a wonderful Etsy shop that I came across a couple of weeks ago while browsing. Bee Gracious offers a variety of nature friendly additions for the garden from birdhouses to butterfly houses. They are truly beautiful and the perfect gift for the green thumb in the family or the new home owner!
