Learning How to Crochet Again
Good afternoon everyone!
Recently I decided to return to a hobby that I had a few years back, and though I was never good at Crocheting, I thought it would be a good way to relax in between painting projects and while dinner was cooking. Let me tell you, it is going pretty well. I picked up a few small books and am going to soon venture out into making something more than just rectangles, squares, scarfs and pot holders; I am going to make a hat... and not on my round loom (as quick and easy as that is). I am so excited! To celebrate my found again hobby I have posted some images and links from my favorite yarn, and yarn product stores on Etsy.... Enjoy!
folktale: yarn in an array of colors! Animal friendly too!
AmyGaines's purl.etsy.com: Adorable patterns for fun!
Sylver Designs: Great patterns for the whole family!

One of my Local Homefront Team Members... The Yarn Chick

In the absence of my husband this month, I thought to myself, what better way to show my pride as a military wife than to blog about one of my fellow Homefront Team members The Yarn Chick. I am sure you can guess what her specialty is. Yep you got it! It is yarn! And let me tell you, the products are beautiful! You just have to stop by and see the wonderful hats The Yarn Chick creates! The shop is full of color and and she offers custom orders too!
