Let's Play, It's Saturday!
Here in the Great Northwest, it is not really Spring without the hail, a chance of snow in the lowlands and yes, digging back out the winter coat. In celebration of keeping warm this weekend and still going outside, help your little one be stylishly bundled up in this acorn beanie from Adrienne Kinsella: Handcrafted Goods & Artwork.

I Finished that Scarf!

Well after a few long days, I have finished that scarf I started to make a while back: that creation that was my first crochet project in quite sometime. I have to say it came out pretty good! A little long, but what can I say? That is the way that I like my scarfs. I am now working on a hat... I hope I can do it!
But in the meantime... Here are a few of my favorite crochet and knit Etsy Shops!

Learning How to Crochet Again
Good afternoon everyone!
Recently I decided to return to a hobby that I had a few years back, and though I was never good at Crocheting, I thought it would be a good way to relax in between painting projects and while dinner was cooking. Let me tell you, it is going pretty well. I picked up a few small books and am going to soon venture out into making something more than just rectangles, squares, scarfs and pot holders; I am going to make a hat... and not on my round loom (as quick and easy as that is). I am so excited! To celebrate my found again hobby I have posted some images and links from my favorite yarn, and yarn product stores on Etsy.... Enjoy!
folktale: yarn in an array of colors! Animal friendly too!
AmyGaines's purl.etsy.com: Adorable patterns for fun!
Sylver Designs: Great patterns for the whole family!
